Overview:

The A19520 is an advanced vibration-resistant Hall effect integrated circuit (IC) that measures the speed and direction of a rotating target. The sensor IC can measure the ferromagnetic target either directly with the ring magnet or with the reverse bias of the magnet. The package has an integrated capacitor for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).


The A19520 uses intelligent algorithms to operate stably in the vibration and high dynamic air gap environments common in drive applications. In addition, the A19520 differential sensing function has inherent suppression of interfering common-mode magnetic fields.


Integrated diagnostics in the A19520 are used to detect IC faults that affect the accuracy of the output protocol, providing coverage that supports functional safety.
