Qorvo® (NASDAQ: QRVO) today announced the introduction of the QPA3390, a 24V power multiplier amplifier for DOCSIS 4.0 broadband and cable television (CATV). The new 1.8GHz surface-mount module delivers superior efficiency and performance and is 30-40% smaller than traditional hybrid solutions, making it ideal for space-constrained applications.

Thanks to advanced GaAs pHEMT and GaN HEMT technologies, the QPA3390 delivers 23dB gain at 1794MHz with excellent linearity. With excellent return loss performance, low noise, and the ability to adjust DC current to achieve an optimal balance between radio frequency (RF) output and DC power consumption, it is ideal for high-performance broadband networks. The QPA3390 comes in a compact 9mm× 8mm multi-chip module (MCM) package that incorporates Qorvo's advanced GaN technology to ensure optimal reliability and low noise. As the first 24V solution on the market, this innovative amplifier delivers a total compound power of 73dBmV at 11.5W, making it ideal for low-power applications.
