The LMH32404IRHFR is a four-channel, single-ended input-to-differential output transresistance amplifier (TIA) for light detection and ranging (LIDAR) applications and laser ranging systems.
The LMH32404 incorporates a 100mA clamp on each channel to protect the amplifier and allow the device to quickly recover from overloaded input conditions. The LMH32404 also provides an integrated ambient light elimination (ALC) circuit on each channel that replaces the AC coupling between the photodiode and the amplifier, saving board space and system costs. ALC circuits should be disabled for DC and low frequency measurements.
Each LMH32404 channel has an integrated switch at the output that disconnects the differential output amplifier from the output pin and puts the channel in standby mode. When switching between different channels, the conversion time is only 10ns. When the amplifier is not in use, the EN pin can be used to put the LMH32404 in low power mode to save energy.
