Product description

The MPQ4325-AEC1 is a synchronous buck switching regulator with configurable frequencies (200kHz to 2.5MHz). It has an internally integrated upper tube MOSFETs (HS-FET) and lower tube MOSFETs (LS-FET) that provide high efficiency output current (IOUT) up to 5A via peak current mode control.

With a wide input voltage (VIN) range of 3.3V to 36V, the MPQ4325-AEC1 ADAPTS to a variety of step-down applications in automotive input environments. Its 1μA static current (IQ) in off mode allows the device to be used in battery-powered applications.

The MPQ4325-AEC1 reduces switching and gate drive losses by reducing switching frequency (fSW) under light load conditions, enabling high power conversion efficiency over a wide load range. In addition, it provides an open drain power normal (PG) signal to indicate whether the output voltage (VOUT) is in the range of 94.5% to 105.5% of its nominal voltage.

The MPQ4325-AEC1 provides frequency return to prevent loss of inductive current (IL) during startup, and over-temperature shutdown protection for reliable fault-tolerant operation. It also provides high duty ratio and low pressure differential modes for cold start conditions.
