The MPM54524GCQ is a fully integrated, 5A, 4-way output power module with I2C interface. It provides a complete power solution with built-in start and shutdown sequencing controls, as well as adjustable soft start (SS), compensation functions and multiple protection thresholds.

The power module uses constant on-time (COT) control to achieve ultra-fast transient response. The output voltage (VOUTx) (where x = A, B, C, or D) can be adjusted via the I2C bus or preset via multiple programmable (MTP) memory. Start and off ordering can also be configured via MTP or controlled via I2C.

The MPM54524 provides adjustable active voltage positioning (AVP) to generate droop voltage. In this way, the four channels can operate in parallel to achieve passive current balance. In addition, the buck regulator A (buck A) and Buck regulator B (buck B) can operate in parallel in interleaving mode with a maximum current of 10A, thus achieving active current balance. Comprehensive protection features include under voltage lock (UVLO) protection, over current protection (OCP), over voltage protection (OVP), Under voltage protection (UVP) and over temperature shutdown protection.
