Overview

The M95P08-E is manufactured using ST's advanced proprietary NVM technology. The device offers byte flexibility, page modifiability, high page cycle performance, and ultra-low power consumption, comparable to EEPROM technology.

The M95P08-E is an 8-Mbit SPI page EEPROM device consisting of 2,048 512-byte programmable pages accessed via an SPI bus with high-performance dual - and quad-channel SPI outputs.

The device provides two additional (identifying) 512-byte pages:

• The first contains the identification data and, upon request, the UID.

• The second can be used to store sensitive application parameters that can (later) be permanently locked in read-only mode.

Additional status, configuration, and volatility registers set the required device configuration, while security registers provide device status information.

The M95P08-E offers an extended temperature range from -40°C to +105°C and supports clock frequencies up to 80 MHz.

The M95P08-E provides byte and page write instructions up to 512 bytes. Write instructions include self-timed auto-erase and programming operations for flexible data byte management.
