An overview:
The AR0522 is a 1/2.5 inch CMOS digital image sensor with a 2592 (H) x 1944 (V) effective pixel array. It captures images in either linear or high dynamic range mode with roll-shutter reading, which includes sophisticated camera functions such as loading, window opening, and video and single frame modes. Designed for both low luminosity and high dynamic range performance, it features interlace scan T1/T2 reads that support off-chip HDR in ISP chips. The AR0522 produces very clear, sharp digital images and is capable of capturing both continuous video and single frame images at the same time, making it suitable for a variety of applications.
