The BCM81385A0KFSBG is a 16-nm low-power, high-density PHY that integrates IEEE 1588, retimer, and equalizer functions for 100GbE, 25GbE, and 10GbE applications. The BCM81385 is designed to support CAUI4, XFI and SFI electrical interfaces.


The Broadcom BCM81385 is designed with 16nm CMOS technology to provide a low power solution.


Features:

- Supports 10G/25G/100G Ethernet applications

- Support 100GbE, CAUI4 to CAUI4, suitable for QSFP28 retiming applications

- Supports 40GbE, XLPPI to XLAUI, suitable for QSFP+ retiming applications

- Support 10GbE, XFI to SFI for SFP+ retiming applications

- Support for IEEE 1588 enables Class C systems to meet stringent 5G timing requirements, as well as ITU-T Y.1731 Synchronous Ethernet (SyncE) recovery clock output

- Support FEC for all data rates up to 100G

- Supports interruptionless multiplexers without link baffles

- 16-nm process node
