NOVOSENSE introduces the new NSM2311 integrated current sensor chip, a fully integrated, highly isolated current sensor solution with excellent current flow capability with primary impedance down to 100μΩ and continuous current capability up to 200A to meet the reliability requirements of the AEC-Q100.
With the rapid development of energy storage, charging pile, power supply (UPS, etc.) and other markets, the demand for high-performance, high-reliability current sensors is growing. These application scenarios often require real-time, accurate monitoring and control of current to ensure stable operation and safety of the system. However, the traditional open-loop current sensor module often has problems such as large volume, high cost and insufficient accuracy, which is difficult to meet the needs of these application scenarios. In order to meet the growing market demand, the NOVOSENSE integrated current sensor NSM2311 adopts advanced integration technology and design, which not only solves the shortcomings of traditional open-loop current sensor modules, but also provides a comprehensive upgrade in performance and function.
Thanks to the ultra-low primary impedance of only 100μΩ, the NSM2311 has a further increase in current flow capacity of up to 200A compared to NOVOSENSE's already produced integrated current sensor NSM201x and NSM211x (1MHz) series, meeting the needs of high power applications. Further reduces the difficulty of heat dissipation design in compact systems. At the same time, the NSM2311 can work stably in a wide temperature range of -40~150℃ and adapt to various extreme environmental conditions. Its high isolation performance and accurate measurement capability provide more reliable protection and optimized operation support for the system.
High isolation and pressure resistance, strong flow ability
Thanks to the unique DIP-5 package design, the NSM2311 achieves a creepage distance of 6.9mm, ensuring excellent electrical isolation, while meeting the UL standard of 5,000 VRMS withstand isolation and voltage, demonstrating strong voltage resistance. In addition, the basic insulation operating voltage of 1358Vdc and the enhanced insulation operating voltage capability of 672Vdc further enhance the stability and safety of the NSM2311 in high-voltage environments.
The NSM2311 has an extremely low primary impedance of 100μΩ and a continuous flow capacity of up to 200A, providing reliable support for a wide range of high-current applications.
High precision, no secondary programming required
The NSM2311 uses the fixed output mode or proportional output mode. The output voltage of the fixed output mode does not fluctuate with the fluctuation of the supply voltage, and the dependence on the high-precision voltage regulator is solved in the system, so that the system BOM is simpler and more cost-effective.
Thanks to the precise first - and second-order temperature compensation algorithms on the chip and the 100% coverage of multi-temperature offline calibration, the NSM2311 maintains high current measurement accuracy across the full operating temperature range:
25℃~150℃ : sensitivity error <±1%, zero error <±5mV
-40℃~25℃ : sensitivity error <±1.5%, zero error <±5mV
Flexible selection
The NSM2311 supports DC or AC current measurement, and the current range covers 50 to 400A, providing users with a variety of options to meet the current measurement requirements in different application scenarios.
