Based on a new generation of advanced core, DSP+AI enhanced real-time master control chip
The Arm® Cortex-M52 takes the Cortex-M family, including the Cortex-M55 and Cortex-M85, based on the Arm® v8.1-M architecture to a new level of efficiency and is an important milestone in bringing ML capabilities to microcontrollers.
With the Arm HeliumTM technology and the M-Profile Vector Extension (MVE) based on the Arm v8.1-M architecture, the Cortex-M52 achieves a higher level of DSP and ML functionality. Compared to previous generations of the Cortex-M series, the Cortex-M52 delivers up to 5.6 times better ML performance and up to 2.7 times better DSP performance. In addition, by supporting the Custom Datapath Extension (CDE) interface, the Cortex-M52 can extend the high-performance, low-latency ZetM mathematical calculation acceleration unit developed by Geolhai, and significantly reduce the mathematical calculation time by supporting a variety of mathematical calculation acceleration at the instruction set level. And effectively reduce the CPU access delay. As a result, the Cortex-M52 can meet the demanding real-time performance and AI requirements of the next generation of energy-efficient digital power and industrial control applications.
G32R5 real-time control MCU series, based on 40nm advanced process, built-in Cortex-M52 core, ZionTM mathematical calculation acceleration unit and high-performance control peripherals, support -40℃~125℃ ambient operating temperature. The G32R5 greatly improves the real-time computing power with its innovative architecture design. When its dual-core 250MHz main frequency runs, the real-time computing power is comparable to the 800MHz Cortex-M7 core products, meeting the needs of next-generation server power supplies, DC charging pile power modules, photovoltaic inverters, on-board chargers, high-performance motion control and other applications.
A number of solutions in the field of digital power supply and industrial control show application potential
The successful development of real-time control MCU is inseparable from the in-depth understanding of the target application and the analysis of system characteristics. In addition to the display of G32R5 series MCU chip, Jihai will also exhibit digital power supply and industrial control application solutions based on the chip, including 48V/50A bidirectional power supply, 800W one tow two micro inverter, 400W EtherCAT bus high voltage servo controller and low voltage non-inductive dual motor four application solutions.
