Instructions:

The Infineon Technologies TLE4972 XENSIV™ magnetic coreless current sensor integrates an analog sensor signal proportional to the measured current and two fast overcurrent detection pins. The TLE4972 uses a differential measurement principle to withstand stray fields, making it ideal for current EMC sensitivity measurements.

Thanks to proprietary digital stress and temperature compensation and powerful Hall technology, the Infineon TLE4972 digitally assisted simulator provides excellent stability over the entire temperature and service life range. The coreless sensor design of magnetic sensors avoids adverse effects such as saturation and hysteresis, which typically come from sensors that use an iron core to obtain magnetic flux density.


According to AEC Q100 and ISO 26262 safety components, the sensor is certified to meet the maximum safety requirements of ASIL B. These requirements support safety-critical applications such as traction inverters and battery master switches.


The sensor is available in a PG-TDSO-16 package and is suitable for 48V and high voltage applications thanks to its external current rail design.

The symbol ISO 26262 safety element exceeds the context up to ASIL B safety requirements
