The LBEE5ZZ1XL-774 Wi-Fi+ Bluetooth module is a very high-performance small module based on the NXP 88W9098 combined chipset and supports Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax 2×2 MIMO + Bluetooth 5.3BR /EDR/LE 2MPHY. The module has PHY data rates of up to 1200Mbps for Wi-Fi and up to 3Mbps for Bluetooth. The WLAN part supports PCIe 2.0 interfaces, and SDIO 3.0 is optional. The Bluetooth part supports high-speed 4-wire UART interface (optional support for SDIO) and PCM for audio data.

NXP's dual-mode 88W9098 chipset features highly sophisticated enhanced co-operative hardware mechanisms and algorithms that ensure WLAN and Bluetooth collaboration is optimized for optimal performance. Supports dual-channel 2x2 Wi-Fi operation with implicit and explicit beamforming. In IEEE 802.11ax mode, WLAN operation supports MCS0 to MCS9 rates (up to 1024 QAM) in 20MHz, 40MHz, and 80MHz channels, with data rates up to 1200Mbps. The Type 1XL module comes in a small size package that facilitates integration into size - and power-sensitive applications such as IoT applications, handheld wireless systems, gateways, video streaming solutions, and more.
