LG New Energy, which was the second largest supplier in June, supplied 4.4GWh of batteries in July, up from 4.1GWh in the same period last year, an increase of 5.9% year-on-year, and its proportion fell from 19% to 11%.

Judging from the report of the research institute, LG New Energy was replaced by BYD in July, mainly because their supply fell sharply. In June, they supplied 7.2GWh of batteries. In July, they did not increase but decreased. In June, BYD batteries The installed capacity is 5.1GWh.

Although BYD's installed capacity in July was higher than that of LG New Energy, there is still a gap between BYD's installed capacity in the first seven months of this year.

According to the report of the research institute, in the first seven months of this year, the installed capacity of LG's new energy electric vehicle battery was 34.3GWh, the second-generation supplier after CATL, and BYD's installed capacity was 30.3GWh, the third largest. big manufacturers.
