The MPQ6631HGLTE is a three-phase brushless DC (BLDC) motor driver featuring an integrated power MOSFET. The MPQ6631HGLTE can drive a three-phase BLDC motor through one or three external Hall sensors. Within the input voltage range of 3.6V to 35V (VIN), its peak phase current can reach up to 3A.
The MPQ6631HGLTE controls the motor speed through closed-loop/open-loop control via pulse width modulation (PWM) signals or DC signals on the PWM/DC pins. It features an inbuilt adjustable speed curve function, and also achieves maximum torque as well as low-speed ripple and low noise throughout the full speed range through a sine driver.
The MPQ6631HGLTE is equipped with a speed detection function. The tachometer detector (FG/RD pin) provides open-drain output, which is higher or lower than the voltage output by the Hall sensor comparator. The MPQ6631HGLTE also achieves direction control through the DIR pin input.
The MPQ6631HGLTE offers a wealth of protection features, including input overvoltage protection (OVP), undervoltage lockout (UVLO) protection, locked rotor protection, overcurrent protection (OCP), and over-temperature shutdown protection.
The MPQ6631HGLTE is available in a TQFN-26 (3mmx4mm) package with tin-plated sides. It complies with AEC-Q100 Level 1 certification.
