Shenzhen Mingjiada Electronics Co., Ltd., a globally renowned distributor of electronic components, has been supplying the STM32H730ZBT6 microcontroller. This is a high-performance 32-bit MCU based on the 550MHz ARM Cortex-M7 core, designed for demanding applications such as industrial automation, artificial intelligence edge computing, and high-end consumer electronics.


STM32H730ZBT6 Description

The STM32H730ZBT6 device is based on a high-performance Arm® Cortex®-M7 32-bit RISC core, operating at a maximum frequency of 550 MHz. The Cortex®-M7 core is equipped with a floating-point unit (FPU), supporting Arm® double-precision (compliant with the IEEE 754 standard) and single-precision data processing instructions and data types. The Cortex-M7 core includes 32 KB of instruction cache and 32 KB of data cache. The STM32H730ZBT6 device supports a full DSP instruction set and a memory protection unit (MPU) to enhance application security.


The STM32H730ZBT6 device integrates high-speed embedded memory, including 128 KB flash, up to 564 KB RAM (of which 192 KB can be shared between ITCM and AXI, plus 64 KB dedicated to ITCM, plus 128 KB dedicated to AXI, 128 KB DTCM, 48 KB AHB, and 4 KB backup RAM), as well as a rich set of enhanced I/O and peripherals connected via the APB bus, AHB bus, two 32-bit multi-AHB bus matrices, and multi-layer AXI interconnects supporting both internal and external memory access. To enhance application robustness, all memory supports error correction codes.


STM32H730ZBT6 Core Features

The STM32H730ZBT6 belongs to STMicroelectronics' STM32H7 series of high-performance microcontrollers, representing the highest performance level of Cortex-M core MCUs currently available. The STM32H730ZBT6 device is manufactured using STMicroelectronics' advanced 40nm process and integrates multiple innovative technologies to achieve breakthrough processing capabilities.


Ultra-high-performance processing core:

Features a 550MHz ARM Cortex-M7 core with support for a double-precision floating-point unit (FPU) and DSP instruction set

Equipped with STMicroelectronics' proprietary ART Accelerator™ technology, enabling zero-wait-state execution with processing performance up to 1327 DMIPS/3224 CoreMark

Includes 16KB instruction cache (I-Cache) and 16KB data cache (D-Cache), significantly enhancing real-time performance


High-capacity, efficient storage system:

On-chip integration of 128KB Flash memory and 564KB SRAM (including 128KB DTCM RAM for critical real-time data)

Supports external memory interfaces, enabling connection to NOR Flash, SRAM, SDRAM, etc., to expand storage capacity

Dual-bank Flash architecture supports in-application programming (IAP), enabling firmware updates without downtime


Rich peripheral interfaces:

Up to 168 GPIO pins with support for various multiplexing function configurations

High-speed communication interfaces: USB 2.0 OTG (full-speed/high-speed), 4x SPI (up to 100MHz), 4x I2C, 3x USART/UART, 2x CAN FD

Analogue interfaces: 3 12-bit ADCs (16 channels, 2.5 MSPS), 2 12-bit DACs

Graphics acceleration: Chrom-ART accelerator enhances GUI performance, supports LCD-TFT controller

Secure boot and secure firmware update (SFU) functionality
