June 26, 2025 - Bourns, a globally renowned leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components for power, protection and sensing solutions, launched the BTN02G and BTN04G series of surface mount negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistors. These two new types of thermistors feature high-precision and miniaturized temperature sensing and compensation functions, providing crucial thermal management solutions for today's more advanced and sensitive mobile devices, household appliances, lithium battery modules, LCD displays and other electronic equipment.

The brand-new Bourns® BTN02G and BTN04G series thermistors feature a resistance value that is inversely proportional to temperature, enabling precise temperature measurement. They adopt an advanced and highly reliable design, combining semiconductor ceramics with internal electrodes, and can smoothly and consistently change resistance values over a wide temperature range. In addition to the standard ±3% and ±5% high-precision resistance tolerances, Bourns' latest NTC thermistors also offer resistance tolerance options of ±1% and ±2%. The B-value tolerance of this series also achieves a high precision of ±1%, making it an excellent temperature sensing solution.


The Bourns® BTN02G and BTN04G series of NTC SMD thermistors are now available on the market. The entire series complies with the RoHS standard and is halogen-free. Orders can now be placed through authorized agent partners of Bourns.
