Sensirion has launched two new digital temperature and humidity sensors, the SHT40-AD1P-R2 and SHT41-AD1P-R2, which are now available through its global network of distributors. These sensors are designed for demanding application environments, offering high accuracy and reliability, and feature a removable protective cover to ensure durability during transport and deployment.
SHT4x with protective cover
The SHT40-AD1P-R2 and SHT41-AD1P-R2 are the latest additions to Sensirion's digital temperature and humidity sensor series. The SHT40-AD1P-R2 offers accuracy of ±1.8% RH (max. ±3.5%) and ±0.2°C, while the SHT41-AD1P-R2 provides accuracy of ±1.8% RH (max. ±2.5%) and ±0.2°C. Both sensors feature a compact DFN package, making them ideal for space-constrained applications. They also incorporate a standard I2C interface and a fixed I2C address of 0x45, enabling seamless integration into various devices and systems.
A removable protective cover is a key feature of both new products, providing additional protection during handling and deployment to ensure reliable operation even in high-volume production environments. Whether used in industrial systems, HVAC equipment, or consumer products, these sensors combine durability, ease of integration, and high-precision measurement, making them suitable for a wide range of applications.
