[25 June 2025, Munich, Germany] Infineon Technologies AG has launched the XENSIV™ TLE4802SC16-S0000 inductive sensor, specifically designed to enhance the performance of automotive chassis applications. This sensor supports digital output via SENT and SPC protocols, features robust immunity to stray magnetic fields, and enables high-precision torque and angle measurement without the need for additional shielding. The product is specifically tailored for applications such as torque and steering angle sensors in electric power steering systems, as well as pedal and suspension systems, offering both flexibility and reliability.

Infineon XENSIV™ TLE4802 TSSOP-16-8 vA


The XENSIV™ TLE4802SC16-S0000 integrates a coil system driver, signal conditioning circuitry, and a digital signal processor (DSP) into a single package, featuring overvoltage and reverse polarity protection. It is housed in a RoHS-compliant, halogen-free surface-mount TSSOP-16 package. It complies with the AEC-Q100 Grade 0 standard and operates over a wide temperature range from -40°C to 150°C.


Additionally, the sensor fully complies with the ISO 26262 standard, making it an ideal choice for safety-critical systems. Built-in cybersecurity features protect system communications from man-in-the-middle attacks. The TLE4802SC16-S0000 is the first product in a new series of inductive sensors, with additional versions to be released in the future.


Availability: The TLE4802SC16-S0000 is now available for purchase, with options for sample quantities or bulk orders.
