Overview:

The PCA2131TF is a CMOS real-time clock (RTC) and calendar with an integrated temperature Compensated crystal (Xtal) oscillator (TCXO) and a 32.768 kHz quartz crystal for extremely high precision and ultra-low power applications.


PCA2131 Features:

Comply with automotive AEC-Q100 specification Level 2

Operating temperatures range from -40 °C to +105 °C.

Clock operating temperatures up to 125 °C

I2C bus or SPI bus interface is available for full flexibility in selecting the relevant MCU/MPU

Backup battery input and switching circuits allow RTC to track time even when the main power supply is disconnected

The calendar feature can track time from years to 1/100th of a second

Up to 4 timestamp registers that can be associated with timestamp input to register tampering events

Up to 2 interrupt outputs to enable/disable the system, reducing total current consumption
