The HMC830LP6GETR is a low-noise, broadband, fractional-N phase-locked loop (PLL) featuring an integrated voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) with a base frequency of 1500 MHz - 3000 MHz and an integrated VCO output divider (dividing by 1/2/4/6... /60/62 division), the HMC830LP6GE is capable of generating frequencies from 25 MHz to 3000 MHz. The integrated phase detector (PD) and delta-sigma modulator operate up to 100 MHz, providing wider loop bandwidth and excellent spectral performance.

With industry-leading phase noise and spurious performance at all frequencies, the HMC830LP6GE minimises blocking effects and improves receiver sensitivity and transmitter spectral purity. Its superior performance makes it ideal for use in multi-channel, multi-standard broadband transceivers, where the HMC830LP6GE can be used as an LO for RF mixers, a clock source for high-frequency data converters, or as an adjustable reference source for ultra-low spurious applications.

Other features of the HMC830LP6GE include RF output power control from 0 to 9 dB (3 dB step), an output squelch function, and a delta-sigma modulator precision frequency mode that allows the user to generate an output frequency with a 0 Hz frequency error.
