1. Characteristics

The main features of the LTC3336EV voltage regulator include:

Input voltage range: 2.5V to 15V

Output current: up to 250 mA

IVIN = 65nA (under adjustment, no load)

Output voltage range: 1.2V to 5V

The 16 fixed output voltages are programmed through 4 pins to connect the input

The four peak VIN currents set for the input (10mA/30mA/100mA/300mA) are bound through two pins

Low IQ differential pressure mode

2. Details

The LTC3336EV is a compact, high-efficiency nano-power hysteresis buck DC/DC that can provide an output current of up to 250mA from an input of 2.5V to 15V. The input quiescent current is usually 80nA. When the output voltage is lower than 2.4V, the output is in a regulated state under no-load conditions. For higher output voltages, this number will further decrease. At this voltage, the internal circuit can self-load from the output.


The performance specifications of the LTC3336EV are highly suitable for primary (i.e., non-rechargeable) battery-powered applications: low IQ and the ability to set the peak current to a level that matches the battery's maximum capacity point. In addition, the LTC3336EV device adopts a compact 12-pin 2mm × 2mm LQFN package.
