Overview

The nRF52820 is a system-on-chip (SoC) that provides USB and advanced wireless connectivity in a small package for HID, smart home, commercial and industrial applications.

The nRF52820 features a 64 MHz Arm Cortex-M4 processor. It has 256 KB of Flash and 32 KB of RAM, as well as a range of analogue and digital interfaces such as analogue comparator, UART, SPI, TWI, QDEC, and USB. nRF52820 can be supplied from 1.7 to 5.5 V, and can power the device from a rechargeable battery or a power source such as a USB. nRF52820 supports all HID and smart home applications, commercial and industrial applications.

The nRF52820 supports all Bluetooth low-power features, including direction finding, high throughput 2 Mbps, long range and more Bluetooth LE features. It also supports Bluetooth Mesh, Thread and Zigbee mesh protocols.

The nRF52820's USB peripheral implements a full-speed USB 2.0 device, providing a widely used interface for low-latency and high-bandwidth communications with a range of hosts, including PCs, tablets, smartphones and gateways.
