India is currently the second largest wireless market in the world, with about 1.1 billion users, and the 5G application market is very broad. Among them, Bharti Airtel has announced cooperation with Samsung, Nokia and Ericsson, and started its 5G network deployment this month.

Judging from the information released by India's 5G construction, Huawei and ZTE have failed to enter the market, although they have gained a lot of market share in India before. In June 2022, the Ministry of Communications of India announced that telecom equipment manufacturers such as Ericsson, Nokia, and Samsung are allowed to participate in 5G trials in the country. But Chinese companies are not on the list, which shows that Huawei, ZTE, etc. are unfortunately out of the game, and they are out of the game completely.

Although India announced that it will launch 5G commercial use in October this year, it will still take a long time for 5G technology to be fully rolled out in India. At present, only 7% of India's overall smartphone base can use 5G. In addition, the early application of 5G will inevitably lead to a rise in tariffs, which will also bring a lot of resistance to its commercial use.
