VSC8504XKS-02 Product Overview:

The VSC8504 is a four-port Gigabit Ethernet (GE) PHY featuring Microchip's next-generation EcoEthernet™ IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) to optimize power consumption in enterprise networks, data centres, and consumer electronics.The VSC8504 supports four dual-media copper/fiber optic with QSGMII MAC interfaces. The VSC8504 supports four dual media copper/fibre ports with QSGMII MAC interfaces, providing carrier-quality Synchronous Ethernet (SyncE) for TDM backhaul links, cellular base stations and other SyncE applications. The VSC8504 device optimises power consumption at all link operating speeds. It includes integrated temperature monitoring and intelligent fan control to extend system life and reduce BOM costs. Adjustable LED brightness control further reduces end-user power consumption.
