The ADS8588SIPMR has the following characteristics:

A 16-bit ADC with an integrated analog front end

Product Details

The ADS8588SIPMR device is an 8-channel, 16-bit, successive approximation (SAR) synchronous sampling analog-to-digital converter (ADC) based on an integrated data acquisition (DAQ) system, with a maximum sampling frequency of 200kSPS per channel. Each channel of this device has a complete analog front end, which includes a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) with an input impedance of up to 1MΩ, input clamping, a low-pass filter and an ADC input driver. In addition, the ADS8588SIPMR also features a low-drift, high-precision reference voltage with a buffer for driving the ADC. With a flexible digital interface, the ADS8588SIPMR supports serial, parallel and parallel byte communication, and is suitable for various host controllers.


The ADS8588SIPMR uses a single 5V power supply and can be configured to accept ±10V or ±5V true bipolar input. The high input impedance characteristic allows for direct connection between the sensor and the transformer, thus eliminating the need for an external driver circuit. This device can achieve high performance, high precision and zero-delay conversion. Therefore, the ADS8588SIPMR is also highly suitable for industrial automation and control ics.
