The AD2427WCCSZ01 Automotive Audio Bus (A2B®) transceiver is powerful enough to tailor system-level performance to the most stringent electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements. The AD2427WCCSZ01 A2B transceiver offers configurable transmit power levels that enable developers to match system performance to specific OEM EMC requirements. The AD2427WCCSZ01 transceiver also supports extended microphone connection use cases and distributes audio and control data as well as clock and power via a single unshielded twisted-pair cable, significantly reducing cabling complexity. These features significantly reduce system costs and are ideal for emerging multi-microphone applications such as road noise cancellation, in-vehicle communications, and autonomous driving.
About Car Audio Bus (A2B)
The Automotive Audio Bus (A2B) is an innovative application tuning technology that reduces cable harness weight by up to 75% while delivering high-fidelity digital audio. A2B is optimized for audio applications to provide excellent audio quality compared to analog connections at a total system cost significantly lower than existing digital bus standards. The simplest form of A2B is a high-bandwidth (50Mbps) digital bus, capable of transmitting I2S audio and I2C control data as well as clock and power over long distances (up to 15m between nodes and 40m throughout the Daisy chain) over a single 2-wire unshielded twisted pair cable.
