Agilex™ 7 FPGA and SoC FPGA product overview

Agilex™ 7 FPGas and SoC FPGas are high-performance FPGA products from Intel designed for bandwidth, compute and memory intensive applications. Compared to competing 7nm FPGas, Agilex™ 7 devices offer approximately a 2x improvement in the architecture performance power consumption ratio. These devices support ARM-based integrated processors, transceivers up to 116 Gbps, PCI Express (PCIe) 5.0 and Compute Express Link (CXL), and 32GB HBM2e.


Focus on recycled products

Agilex™ 7 FPgas and SoC FPGas are available in three families: the F Series, I Series and M series, each tailored to different application requirements.

F series

The F-Series uses Intel's 10 nm SuperFin process technology to deliver transceiver rates of up to 58 Gbps, advanced DSP blocks that support multiple precision fixed-point and floating-point operations, and high-performance encryption blocks. Suitable for applications where an optimal balance between power consumption and performance is required.


I series

The I Series also uses Intel's 10 nm SuperFin process technology, but expands on the F-Series to provide transceiver rates of up to 116 Gbps, support for PCIe 5.0, and support for pcie 5.0. And a cache and memory consistent connection to the processor via Compute Express Link (CXL). Suitable for bandwidth-intensive applications.


M series

The M Series expands on the I-Series with Intel's 7nm process technology, offering packaged high-bandwidth memory (HBM), a memory interface for DDR5 SDRAM, and a hard-core memory on Chip network (NoC) to maximize memory bandwidth. Suitable for compute and memory intensive applications.


Main characteristics

High-performance transceiver: Supports transceiver rates up to 116 Gbps for high-speed data transmission.

PCIe support: Supports PCIe 4.0 and PCIe 5.0 ports, providing high-speed data transmission channels.

Memory interface: Supports DDR4, DDR5, and LPDDR5 memory interfaces to meet memory requirements of different applications.

Integrated processor: Offers quad-core Arm Cortex-A53 SoC options for enhanced processing power.

High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) : The M Series supports 16GB and 32GB HBM, providing higher memory bandwidth.
