Overview:

The BD83A04EFV-ME2 is a white LED driver for LCD backlighting. It features MOS for boost and 4-channel current drivers for LED drivers, making it ideal for high-brightness LED drivers. The maximum LED pin voltage is 50 V, which is suitable for driving medium-sized LCD panels.

It can be dimmed by PWM signal up to 20,000:1@100 Hz. It also supports analog dimming, which can be adapted to a higher brightness range by combining it with PWM dimming. DC/DC converters can be controlled for boost applications with input operating voltages ranging from 4.5 V to 48 V.
