Overview:

The LTM4664A is a complete, non-isolated 48V input high-efficiency step-down μModule® regulator with dual-channel 30A outputs. The device has a built-in switching controller, power MOSFETs, inductors, and support components. Only external capacitors are needed to complete the design. The LTM4664A operates in an input voltage range of 30V to 58V and supports output voltages from 0.5V to 1.5V with power up to 75W. Intermediate output of 25% • VIN is also available.

The LTM4664AIY dual-channel 30A regulator uses a digitally programmable analog control loop, a precision data acquisition circuit, and an EEPROM with ECC. The LTM4664A's two-wire serial interface enables margin adjustment, fine tuning, and ramp up and ramp down of 30A outputs with programmable swing rates and timing monitoring delay times. True input current detection, output current and voltage, input and output power, temperature, uptime, and peak values are all readable for dual 30A power System management (PSM) channels.
