The MAQ473 MagAlpha™ Automotive Angle sensor is designed to detect the absolute angular position of a permanent magnet, typically a radially magnetized cylinder on the axis of rotation. Fast data acquisition and processing provides accurate Angle measurements in the speed range from 0rpm to 60,000 rpm. This device supports a variety of magnetic field strengths and spatial configurations. Supports axle end and off-axis (side mount) configurations.


The MAQ473 features a programmable threshold for magnetic field strength detection that allows the position of the magnet relative to the sensor to be sensed to create functions such as axial movement or diagnostic sensing.


The MAQ473 is AEC-Q100 certified and comes in a 3.0mm X 3.0mm QFN-16 package with wettable flanking.
