The u-blox SAM-M10Q Standard Precision GNSS antenna module is a chip antenna module based on the ultra-low power u-blox M10 GNSS platform. The platform supports simultaneous reception of four GNSS systems (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and Beidou) and provides excellent sensitivity/fast acquisition times for all L1 GNSS systems. With power consumption as low as 37mW in continuous tracking mode, four GNSS systems can be received simultaneously, providing significant power autonomy for battery-powered devices without compromising GNSS performance. The SAM-M10Q module integrates a front-end SAW filter and LNA. This setting ensures excellent out-of-band interference suppression, such as when a cellular modem is nearby. The SAM-M10Q also detects interference and fraud attempts and reports them to the host so that the system can react to such incidents.

The high-gain 15.5mm2 x 6.3mm patch antenna achieves the perfect balance between performance and small size. The omnidirectional radiating antenna mode improves the flexibility of device installation. It has an integrated antenna, robust design and simple interface, so it can be easily integrated into user designs. The SAM-M10Q comes in a surface-mount, 20-pin LGA package for easy automated manufacturing. The SAM-M10Q standard precision GNSS antenna module is pin-to-pin compatible with the previous SAMM8Q module, saving users time and cost when upgrading the design to advanced low-power u-blox M10 GNSS technology.
