Overview

The TMDS181IRGZT device is a digital Video interface (DVI) or High-definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI™) retimer. The TMDS181x supports four TMDS channels, the Audio return channel (SPDIF_IN/ARC_OUT) and the Digital Display Control (DDC) interface. The TMDS181x supports signal transmission rates up to 6Gbps, achieving resolutions up to 4k2k60p 24-bit/pixel and up to WUXGA 16-bit color depth or 1080p, with high refresh rates. The TMDS181x is configured to support the HDMI2.0a standard. The TMDS181x automatically configures the heavy drive at data rates below 1.0Gbps, and the reset timer at rates above that. Heavy drive mode supports HDMI 1.4B with data rates up to 3.4Gbps

HDMI™ has a clock and data recovery (CDR) circuit between the input and output ports, supporting data rates up to 6Gbps

• Compatible with HDMI™ electrical parameters up to 6Gbps in retimer mode

• Supports 4k2k60p and up to WUXGA 16-bit color depth or 1080p with higher refresh rates

• Retiming the input stream to compensate for random jitter

• Adaptive receiver equalizer or programmable fixed equalizer

• I2C and pin Settings are programmable

• 5+ bit internal offset compensation

• Supports single-ended ARC mode

• Link debugging tools include an eye map located behind the RX equalizer

• 48-pin 7mm x 7mm 0.5mm pitch ultra-thin square flat leadless (VQFN) package

• Extended commercial temperature range from 0°C to 85°C (TMDS181)

• Industrial temperature range from -40°C to 85°C (TMDS181I)
