Device Description

The VN7008AJTR is a single-channel high voltage side driver manufactured using ST's proprietary VIPower® technology in the PowerSSO-16 package. The device is designed to drive 12 V automotive grounded loads over 3 V and 5 V CMOS compatible interfaces and provides protection and diagnostic functions. The device incorporates advanced protection features such as load current limiting, active management of overloads through power limiting, and over-temperature shutdown (configurable latching.) The FaultRST pin unlocks the output or disables latching in the event of a fault. The sense enable pin allows the shutdown diagnostics to be disabled in the module's low-power mode, as well as the sharing of external sense resistors between similar devices.
