In order to provide higher bandwidth for networking applications and services, Qualcomm Technologies has launched the Qualcomm QCA6698AQ, a Wi-Fi 6E 4-channel dual-band concurrent and Bluetooth 5.3 combo chip for automotive applications. Based on the latest Qualcomm FastConnect mobile connectivity system, the Qualcomm QCA6698AQ supports parallel operation of 802.11ax dual MACs in the 2.4GHz and extended 5GHz/6GHz bands, enabling industry-leading Wi-Fi speeds in AEC-Q100-qualified terminals. To meet the complex demands of today's rapidly changing automotive ecosystem, the Qualcomm QCA6698AQ is designed to deliver rich in-car entertainment and superior audio experience, with significantly increased bandwidth for concurrent Wi-Fi applications. The product is currently sampling and is expected to pass vehicle-level certification later in 2022.
