Device Description:
The TMS5700714APGEQQ1 device is part of the Hercules TMS570 family of high-performance automotive-grade ARM® Cortex®-R-based MCUs. The device comes complete with documentation, tools, and software to assist in the development of ISO26262 and IEC61508 functional safety applications.
The TMS5700714APGEQQ1 device integrates an ARM Cortex-R4F floating-point CPU that delivers a highly efficient 1.66 DMIPS/MHz and is configured to run up to 160 MHz, providing instruction execution speeds of up to 265 DMIPS. The TMS570 device supports the word-invariant big-end [BE32] format. format.
The TMS5700714APGEQQ1 device has a 768KB integrated Flash memory and 128KB RAM configuration with single-bit error correction and double-bit error detection. The Flash memory on this device is electrically erasable and programmable non-volatile memory via a 64-bit wide data bus interface. The Flash memory uses a 3.3V power input (same level as the I/O power supply) for all read, program, and erase operations.The SRAM supports single-cycle read and write accesses in byte, half-word, word, and double-word modes over the entire supported frequency range.
The TMS5700714APGEQQ1 device features peripherals for real-time control applications, including two Next Generation High-End Timer (N2HET) timing coprocessors with up to a total of 44 I/O terminals, seven enhanced PWM (ePWM) modules with up to 14 outputs, six enhanced capture (eCAP) modules, two enhanced quadrature encoder pulse (eQEP) modules and two enhanced quadrature encoder pulse (eQEP) modules. Pulse (eQEP) modules and two 12-bit analogue-to-digital converters (ADCs) supporting up to 24 inputs.
