Product Overview:

The ADAU1401A is a complete single-chip audio system with a 28/56-bit audio DSP, ADC, DAC and microcontroller-like control interface. Signal processing technologies including equalization, frequency splitting, bass enhancement, multi-band dynamic processing, delay compensation, speaker compensation, and stereo image broadening can be used to compensate for the physical limitations of speakers, amplifiers, and listening environments to significantly improve the sound quality experience.

The ADAU1401A's signal processing technology is comparable to that used in high-end studio equipment. Most of the processing is done in full 56-bit double precision mode, resulting in excellent low-level signal performance. The ADAU1401A is a fully programmable DSP. With the easy-to-use SigmaStudio™ software, users can graphically configure custom signal processing flows with modules such as biorder filters, dynamic processors, level controls, and GPIO interface controls.

Work completely independently

Self-booting from serial EEPROM

The auxiliary ADC is equipped with a 4-input multiplexer for analog control

GPIO is used for digital control and output

Full programming is possible with the SigmaStudio graphics tool

28-bit × 28-bit multiplier with a built-in 56-bit accumulator for full double precision processing

A clock oscillator generates a master clock from a crystal oscillator
