Overview:

Based on the Arm® Cortex-M0 + core, the Kinetis KL4x microcontroller combines ultra-low power performance with a wide range of analog, communication, timing and control peripherals, featuring a USB 2.0 OTG controller and a low-power segmented LCD controller that can support up to 376 segments. The Kinetis KL4x MCU also features several flexible low-power modes, including a new compute clock mode that reduces dynamic power consumption by placing peripherals in asynchronous stop mode. Integrated security circuits prevent illegal access to RAM and flash content. The KL4x MCU family is compatible with the Cortex-M4-based Kinetis K40 MCU family for migration to higher performance and a richer feature set.
