The LPC5506JHI48QL MCU has advanced security, making it ideal for industrial, iot, and general embedded applications. The LPC5506 Arm Cortex-M33 based microcontroller features a CASPER encryption engine with up to 256KB of on-chip flash memory and up to 96KB of on-chip SRAM. The MCU also includes a PRINCE module for dynamic flash encryption/decryption. The LPC550x includes a number of timers, including Code Watchdog, CAN FD, five universal timers, a Sctimer/PWM, an RTC/ alarm timer, a 24-bit multi-rate timer (MRT), and a Window Watchdog Timer (WWDT). In addition, a number of flexible serial communication peripherals, a programmable logic unit (PLU) and a 16-bit 2.0M sample/second ADC capable of simultaneous conversion, comparator and temperature sensor are included.

The device provides a secure foundation for isolation, protecting valuable IP and data through Trustzone® technology. The LPC5506 simplifies the design and software development of digital signal control systems by integrating digital signal processing (DSP) instructions.

The LPC5506 MCU meets security requirements for secure startup, HASH, AES, RSA, UUID, dynamic encryption and decryption, debug authentication, and TBSA compliance.
