The DLP5530SAFYSQ1 device is a 0.55 inch 1.3 megapixel DMD for automotive interior displays.

Overview:

The DLP5530S-Q1 automotive DMD is combined with the DLPC230S-Q1 DMD controller and the TPS99000S-Q1 system management and lighting controller to enable a high-performance augmented reality HUD. Adopt 2:1 aspect ratio, support super width aspect ratio design; With 1.3 megapixel resolution, retinal level restricted display can be achieved in HUD applications. The light flux of DLP5530SQ1 is more than 3 times that of the previous DLP3030-Q1 automotive DMD, which can obtain a wider field of view and a larger driver's eye movement range, enhancing the user experience. The chipset is coupled to the LED and optical system to achieve fuller 125% NTSC color, ultra-high brightness of more than 15,000cd/m2, high dynamic dimming ratio of more than 5000:1, and high solar load tolerance. The DLP5530S-Q1 Automotive DMD micromirror array is configured for bottom lighting, enabling more efficient and compact optical engine designs. The S450 package features low thermal resistance for DMD arrays, enabling a more efficient thermal solution.
