AD7389-4BCPZ device Description:

The AD7389-4 is a 16-bit, quad, synchronous sampling, high-speed, Continuous approximation register (SAR), analog-to-digital converter (ADC), operating in a power supply range of 3.0V to 3.6V and a throughput of up to 2 MSPS. The analog input type is differential, accepts a wide common-mode input voltage, and the analog input is sampled and converted on the falling edge of CS.


The AD7389-4 features an on-chip oversampling block to improve dynamic range and reduce noise at lower bandwidths. Oversampling can increase the resolution to two bits. Includes buffer internal 2.5V reference (10 ppm/°C).


The conversion process and data acquisition use standard control inputs, allowing easy interface to a microprocessor or digital signal processor (dsp). The conversion result can be clocked simultaneously in 4-line mode for faster throughput, or clocked in 1-line serial mode when slower throughput is allowed. The device supports 1.8V, 2.5V and 3.3V interfaces and uses a separate logic power supply.

The AD7389-4 is available in a 24-pin pin frame chip scale package (LFCSP) with an operating range of -40 °C to +125°C.
