NRF8001-R2Q32-R7 Description:

The nRF8001 is a Bluetooth® low energy solution designed to operate in peripheral devices. By integrating a Bluetooth Low Energy compliant radio (PHY), slave mode link controller and host, the nRF8001 gives you an easy way to add Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity to your application.

The nRF8001 provides a serial interface (ACI) for configuration and control from your microcontroller. Throughout the rest of this document, this microcontroller will be referred to as the application controller.
