Device Description:

LMG3522R030RQSR GaN FET with integrated driver and protection for switch-mode power converters, allowing designers to achieve higher levels of power density and efficiency. 

The LMG3522R030RQSR incorporates a silicon driver that enables switching speeds of up to 150V/ns. This integrated feature, combined with TI's low-inductance packaging technology, provides clean switching and ultra-small ringing in hard-switching power supply topologies. Adjustable gate drive strength allows control of swing rates between 20V/ns and 150V/ns, which can be used to actively control EMI and optimise switching performance. 

Advanced power management features include digital temperature reporting and fault detection. The temperature of the GaN FET is reported via a variable duty cycle PWM output, which simplifies device loading management. Faults reported include overheat, overcurrent and UVLO monitoring.
