PM8533B-F3EI Product Description

The Switchtec PFX/PFX-I PCIe Gen3 fan-out switch supports up to 96 lanes, 24 virtual switch partitions, 48 non-transparent bridges (NTBs), hot-swappable controllers per port, advanced error containment, and comprehensive diagnostic and debugging features.The PFX-I Gen3 PCIe switch supports the full functionality of the PFX* and is capable of operating at -40°C ambient temperature to 105°C junction for extended industrial temperature range operation.

High performance non-blocking switch

- Up to 174GB/s switching capacity

- 96-channel, 80-channel, 64-channel, 48-channel, 32-channel and 24-channel variants

- Port bifurcation from x2 to x16 lanes

- Up to 48 NTBs can be allocated to any port

- Logical non-transparent (NT) interconnects allow for larger topologies (up to 256 masters)

- Supports 1+1 and N+1 failover mechanisms

- NT address translation using direct windows and multiple sub-windows Per BAR

- Support for multicast groups per port

- The PFX-I supports an extended industrial temperature range TA: -40 °C to TJ: 105 °C
