Marvell introduces the Marvell 88Q2112, the industrys first 1000BASE-T1 automotive Ethernet physical layer (PHY) transceiver, compliant with the IEEE 802.3bp 1000BASE-T1 standard.

For its vision, Meiman Electronics Technology, a global leader in providing complete chip solutions and Kinoma software for storage, Internet of Things (IoT), cloud infrastructure, digital entertainment, and home content delivery, announced today that it has launched the industry's first 1000BASE-T1 Automotive Ethernet Physical layer (PHY) transceiver Marvell 88Q2112, this product complies with IEEE 802.3bp 1000BASE-T1 draft standard requirements.


Main features:

Compliant with the IEEE 802.3bp draft standard for 1000Mbps data transfer over a single unshielded twisted pair copper cable.

Meets stringent EMI requirements for automotive systems.

Delivers uncompressed 720p30 camera video in the car, supporting multiple HD video streams, including 4K solutions.

Single twisted pair Ethernet allows the option of lightweight, low cost cable harnesses.
