Product Description:

The VN7040AJTR devices are single-channel high-side drivers manufactured using ST's proprietary VIPower M0-7 technology in PowerSSO-16 and SO-8 packages. These devices are designed to drive 12 V automotive ground loads via 3 V and 5 V CMOS compatible interfaces and provide protection and diagnostic functions.

The devices incorporate advanced protection features such as load current limiting, active management of overloads via power limiting and configurable latching for over-temperature shutdown.
