Product Overview:

The ADS131M06QPBSRQ1 is a six-channel, synchronous sampling, 24-bit Delta-σ analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The wide dynamic range, low power consumption and power measurement specific characteristics make the device suitable for power metering, power metering and circuit breaker applications. The ADC input can be connected directly to a resistive voltage divider network or a power transformer to measure voltage, or to a current transformer or Rogowski coil to measure current. Individual ADC channels can be configured independently based on sensor input. Low noise, programmable gain amplifiers (PGA) provide gains from 1 to 128 to amplify low level signals.

ADS131M06QPBSRQ1 integrates interchannel phase calibration and offset and gain calibration registers to help eliminate signal chain errors. The device incorporates a low drift, 1.2V voltage reference to reduce printed circuit board (PCB) area. The cyclic redundancy check (CRC) option can be enabled separately in data input, data output, and register mapping to ensure communication integrity. The ADS131M06-Q1 device meets AEC-Q100 certification for automotive applications.
