Rokid released the AR smart glasses Rokid Max series, Station Pro, operating system YodaOS-Master and other products at the Rokid Open Day 2023 Global Partner Conference, enriching the product matrix as it continues to upgrade the performance of its AR smart glasses.

According to the introduction, Rokid Max adopts the BirdBath + Micro OLED solution, and the Micro OLED screen is a product of Sony Semiconductor Technology. This is a 50% increase in display area over the previous generation.

BirdBath is the current mainstream optical solution, with low cost, light weight, good imaging quality, and will be more efficient than optical waveguide; Micro OLED has self-lighting, thin thickness, large viewing angle, small size, low power consumption and other characteristics, and easy to achieve high PPI is also the current solution that most AR manufacturers will choose. Based on the BirdBath + Micro OLED solution, together with other components miniaturised to match, the Rokid Max creates a better visual experience, which is one of the keys to the Rokid Max's overall weight of only 75g.

In terms of content, Rokid Max supports HDCP and has overseas class copyright films and videos, hundreds of 3D movies, and 300 3A titles.

The Rokid Max is equipped with RuiSheng's first AR-specific ultra-linear speaker, which delivers a more immersive and intimate surround sound experience.

As an AR speaker, the product is ultra-miniature, measuring 8x20x3mm and weighing 1.45g. In terms of sound, this AR ultra-linear speaker has an amplitude of only 0.5mm, which solves the problem of sound loss while also achieving better low and mid-range frequency performance and clearer voice interaction. This is "the industry's first smallest AR glasses speaker with a 0.5mm amplitude", according to Rason Technology.

The Rokid Max Pro adds a camera to the Rokid Max, paired with the Station Pro and combined with the YodaOS-Master operating system to create a new AR spatial experience, with SLAM gesture interaction and 6DoF spatial sound field and mixed reality recording technologies to provide enhanced interaction capabilities.
