China Unicom and Huawei recently completed a 5G-Advanced technology-based downlink 10Gbps peak rate technology experiment, marking the official entry of 5G-Advaned technology innovation into the 10 Gigabit era.

March 9 - China Unicom and Huawei recently completed a 5G-Advanced technology-based downlink 10Gbps peak rate technology experiment, marking the official entry of 5G-Advaned technology innovation into the 10 Gigabit era.


This technology experiment validates the large bandwidth technology capability, which can achieve more than 10Gbps single user rate experience in typical wireless environment, and is one of the key achievements of the Smart New Vision track, which will help realize the communication experience of "the sky is the limit" for immersive interactive services such as XR and holography.


5G-Advanced has entered the stage of industry acceleration and commercial readiness, and China Unicom said it will continue to innovate around the three innovation tracks, join hands with industry partners to prepare for standard development, product definition, industry ecology and application collaboration, and work together in depth to build a 5G-Advanced network that empowers the metaverse, intelligent vehicle connectivity, cloudization of thousands of lines and industries, and integration of communication and sensing.
