The ATSAMA5D27-SOM1 module system is based on 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-A5 SAMA5D27 and 1GB DDR2 SDRAM, with an operating frequency up to 500MHz. The SAMA5D27 SOM1 simplifies hardware design and software development, which can shorten the time to market for products. This SOM also restricts the design rules of the main application board, thereby reducing the overall complexity and cost of the PCB. This board features a variety of peripherals, user interfaces and expansion options. ATSAMA5D27-SOM1 comes with a free Linux distribution and bare-metal C examples, making it easy to start development.
