The ASP-214802-01 connector is part of Samtec's COM-HPC standard offering high-speed performance for embedded computers. Com-hpc coexists with the COM Express® specification to provide scalability and enhanced performance for the next generation of embedded system designs.

The Samtec COM-HPC provides system and interface flexibility by employing a pair of 400-pin connectors (for a total of 800 pins) based on the Samtec AcceleRate® HP High-Performance array. These connectors support existing and future interfaces, such as PCIe 5.0 (32 Gbps) and Ethernet up to 100 Gb. The master block socket is of standard height. The male carrier plugs vary to allow for a stack height of 5 mm or 10 mm.
